Separation Revisited
I was browsing through YouTube and one thing led to another and I stumbled upon the opening clip of the Venom/Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety video game:

It brought back a lotta good memories. I played the game back in ‘97 and it was so much fun considering the hype of Spider-Man and all and I was really starting to understand the Spider-Man mythos better. Venom instantly became one of my favorite villains of all time. And truth be told, I really like it whenever he teams up with Spider-Man. They’re really one of those teammates that complement each other perfectly and their chemistry is just…well, harmony.
The cover art for the video game, which you can see on this Wikipedia entry of it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider-Man_%26_Venom:_Separation_Anxiety), was really well done in my opinion. It wasn’t the usual comic book art. It was more realistic and it was then that I began to fall in love with the dark feel of comic books and realize that in comic books, it is supposed to get nasty and ugly.
