Anant Shiva to me - July 10, 2005/via Gmail

ok I found this.

you see, I found this online comic strip called Hellbound.
and I saw that the site is powered by this script called Walrus.

Here’s an excerpt:

Walrus was created by Jim Newberry in late 2001 to help fill the gap of software designed exclusively for use with online comics. Its first implementation was on the site Life of Wily. Since then, the script has undergone many changes, code revisions and new features alike. It is highly customizable and easy to both install and use for experienced coders and novices alike. Because of this, Walrus is currently the backbone of dozens of webcomics all over the world.

What this basically means is that you gotta have your own site that u can install this script to. Which would mean forking out money. The script itself is completely free, of course.

Speaking of website hosting, check out Propercomfy. It’s run by this guy in the UK and basically you need to request for hosting, and if he likes ya email and what you’re going to do with ya site, he’ll host ya site for free. No ads, as well. It’s awesome to know that nice people still exist. Check out the Faq for more details.

All this is a little more work than getting a free Blogger account, but hey, presentation counts. And if it presents itself to you for free, why not grab it?
